10th anniversary Bass Lake Triathlon

Bass Lake is a HOT SPOT for a California Triathlon for sure!

Today was a LOT of FUN! A huge thank you to my nephew who is a Fresno State student for inviting us out to support the athletes.

It was amazing to see happy people giving hugs and connecting. . .

My nephew is a great young man and he is the reason I was at the race.

Thank you to the Bass Lake Fire Dept. Chief and his crew for the Leadership and Motivation to get this young man across the finish line! He told me how they stayed back with him until the entire race was over.

This was his 1st triathlon, and he chose to do the "Olympic" version versus the "Sprint" version of the race. . .

Call him crazy, but he finished.

This is true GRIT.

He started something, and he never gave up.

I am proud of you Hovig!
